Knowing her creativity could help boost the confidence of the clients who sit in her chair, Aster began her hair journey in 2018. A global pandemic and motherhood put Aster’s dream on pause although she never lost sight of her goals. Adhering to the culture of Aesthetics, Aster strives to provide each guest with a memorable experience. Focusing on blowouts, roller sets, weaves, and flexi rod sets, Aster’s clients leave her chair with laughs and beautiful hair since joining our team in 2023.

Goldwell Master Colorist , Rezo Certified hairstylist

A true expert in her craft, Dominique has made a name for herself for curly cuts and customized color services. She is a true artist with the brush and she can bring almost any color dream to life. Her unmatched skill set with color service has helped put her in high demand in the DMV area.

Extension Specialist, Hairstylist

Frey is a premier stylist at Aesthetics Salon working in the industry for several years. After studying Marketing Management and working within the field, Frey left it all behind to follow her dreams of being a hairstylist. Before joining our team, she worked at Hair Cuttery as a lead associate. She specializes in crotchets, weaves, and standard hairdressing. She prides herself in superior customer service and healthy styling techniques.

Having a passion for hair since a young age, Khadijah decided to leave her career in law enforcement to pursue her talents of hairdressing. As a former client of Aesthetics, Khadijah shared her natural hair work with our team which led to us encouraging her to seriously pursue her artistry, Providing natural hair care services for the past 3 years, Khadijah began her licensed journey with Aesthetics Salon in 2023. Specializing in loc maintenance, flat twist, and signature blowouts, Khadijah continues perfecting her craft with us and provides her guests with the top-tier service she received as a former client.

Natural Hair Specialist, Uzuri Curl Specialist

As a true beauty enthusiast, Lehem continues to have her hand in all parts of the beauty industry. Her journey began when she first explored a profession in makeup artistry that quickly transitioned into a healthy hair focus. Starting her career at the age of 16 Lehem graduated high school as a licensed hairstylist and styles hair with us when she is not in college where she is studying business. Her patience and care with natural hair is unmatched.

Color Expert, Bellami Certified, Wella Color Expert

Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, Liyou is a Bellami Certified Stylist who has dedicated the past four years of her career to mastering her color and extension techniques. She enjoys creating fun and unique color transformations for her clients. From hand painting to balayage, she can truly do it all. While color is her specialty, she is also known for her flawless blowouts and cuts. Like a true artist, she pays close attention to detail while creating each of her masterpieces. Her precision and elite-level knowledge of hair will not only leave you satisfied but will have you coming back again and again.

Nikka got her start in haircare at the age of 12 in Jacksonville, Florida. After discovering and honing her natural talent she completed cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell The School, mastering more advanced techniques and skill. Specializing in natural hair, bridal hairstyling, braiding and runway blowouts, Nikka believes in an inside out approach to hair care and encourages self-love, healthy eating and holistic health.

After obtaining a degree in mass communications and public relations, Chicago native Nina Simone switched Gerard to pursue her first love, hair. Being a healthy hair enthusiast, Nina believes healthy hair is an inside out approach and is a lifestyle. Specializing in signature blowouts and natural hair, Nina is able to create customizable looks that help her clients achieve their goals.

Salem is a premier stylist at Aesthetics Salon, working alongside Yene from 2013 to the salon’s fruition. Knowing at an early age she had a passion for hair, Salem began her haircare journey studying at Paul Mitchell The School. Quickly, Salem became a sought-out stylist in the DMV area specializing in extensive extensions techniques, healthy hair and natural hairstyling. Salem is your go to girl when it comes to versatility and healthy haircare.

Taelor A.

Natural Hair Enthusiast, Uzuri Curl Specialist

After taking an early interest in hair, Taelor graduated high school and immediately enrolled in cosmetology school. Young, ambitious, and eager to learn, while in school, Taelor began her hunt to find a salon home to help cultivate and nourish her goals. She joined the Aesthetics team before completion of cosmetology school and has been perfecting her craft ever since. Taking a particular interest in braiding, natural hairstyling, flat twists, and two-strand twists, Taelor is taking models currently on select days.

With over 15 years of experience, Yene prides herself on her standard of excellence in classical hairdressing. Living by the philosophy “good hair is healthy hair,” Yene strives to provide guidance to her clients both in and out of the salon. Her dedication to education begins with each client that sits in her chair helping her and her clients work together to create a customized hair regiment that meets their lifestyle.
